New physiotherapist for Team Suriname
The Suriname Korfball Federation is pleased to announce that Daan Koning has joined our team as physiotherapist. Daan brings more than 10 years of experience from various physiotherapy practices and was previously also physiotherapist at korfball club TOP from Sassenheim, where he still does the honours from time to time. His vast experience and knowledge are a valuable addition to our team.
Daan spent his youth at korfball club Groen-Geel in Wormer and later at Blauw-Wit in Amsterdam. Although he quit korfball a few years ago, he has always stayed connected to the sports world and turned his focus to CrossFit. He also regularly goes running and cycling. This broad sports experience makes Daan not only an expert, but also a physiotherapist who can empathise well with the needs of athletes.
With his expertise in taping and dry needling, as well as his versatility in other physiotherapy techniques, Daan offers a comprehensive approach to recovery as well as prevention. He is an athlete at heart and prefers working with other athletes, because he can empathise with their challenges and ambitions.
His goal at the Suriname Korfball Federation is clear: to take the next step on the road to success with this group of players. Daan started early this year and is now well acquainted with all the players and staff.
We look forward to the positive impact Daan will have on our players and wish him good luck in this new role!
