Make a difference: help children experience korfball in Suriname

Sport matters. Especially for children. It not only provides exercise and fun, but also structure, social connection and self-confidence. In Suriname, dozens of primary schools are eager to start playing korfball - but one crucial ingredient is missing: materials.

That's why we ask you: make a difference. Help children play korfball in Suriname.

What's needed?

To make sport possible, basics are needed. Not excess, but the bare minimum with which children can train and play safely and enthusiastically. We are currently looking for:

• 🏐 Korfballs

• 🏀 Korfs and poles

• 🪛 Post bases

• 💶 Financial support to enable transport and trainings

These materials are deployed directly at Surinamese primary schools participating in the adoption plan of the Surinamese Korfball Federation.

Your help matters

In the Netherlands we are used to well-equipped sports fields and endless options, but this is not a given in Suriname. With limited resources, but endless motivation, local schools and trainers want to introduce youth to the power of sport. With your support, you bring not only material, but also hope, perspective and fun of the game.
